We are not responsible for any value or replacement of any data or images Information uploaded on the site, may be seen by unknown people that can see or glean your name, marital status, gender, personal preferences, location of your event, relationships, etc. This information may be needed in terms of producing a multi-media slideshow of a wedding, vow renewal or similar event. Do Not post any info or picture that may give out information that you consider private or you rather not be made public
Comments and Photos posted to Site
When you or visitors leave comments, photos, files or pics on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. We do not share this information with third parties, but the date is retained by GlideShow indefinitely.
Media Ownership
If you upload images or text to the website they become property of GlideShow Media, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.
Cookies
If you visit a GlideShow multi-media slideshow, leave a comment on our site or upload a file we may save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Who we share your data with
We may share information you post with people at your event, but it can be viewed by third parties who have access to a QR code for your event. We do not sell any information to third parties, but may share it with third parties for help with research or marketing.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, photo, text, image, etc. the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time . Website administrators can also see and edit that information. DO NOT post any information that you do not want anyone else to see.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request we erase any personal data we hold about you. Erasure may take up to 4 months. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Statute of Limitations
Any dispute arising out of the use of Glideshow is 1 year from the date of an event OR when you knew or should of known of a dispute.
Arbitration Clause
Any dispute you may have must first be submitted in writing to GlideShow 1905 N Ocean Blvd 6C Fort Lauderdale FL 33305. If unresolved within 90 days of your mail, you have only Arbitration as an option. You must submit the names of 3 Arbitrators certified in Florida by a County Government. Those 3 names must be sent in writing to GlideShow in the mail. Glideshow has 30 days to pick one of the Arbitrators and schedule a date within 90 days. The cost of Arbitration is not to exceed $1000 and must be split equality 50-50 between the parties. Either party may appear and/or submit documents, audio, photos, video telephonically for Arbitration e.g. by Zoom or Skype.
